Our feature car this week is a 1936 Ford Deluxe Phaeton with a few tricks up its sleeve. The original 21-stud flathead sports an Isky ¾-race camshaft, a set of Red’s headers, and a sweet-sounding dual exhaust system, making it a joy to drive. The beautiful Washington Blue paint is complimented by a brown leather interior and a tan top with full weather equipment and a rear windshield, making it an ideal tour car. And few machines are more roadworthy than an early V8 Ford, especially when they’re equipped with a Columbia 2-speed rear axle, which allows easy cruising at modern highway speeds. I wouldn’t expect this one to last long.
This is our busiest time of year, so if you have a car that you’d like to sell, now is the time! Why not give us a call and see what Vintage Motor Cars can do for you?
